BOS Consultants was founded by Ntuthuko Mdletshe and Beatrice Nkwanyana, combining more than 20 years of practical experience gained inside forestry contractor operations.

Beatrice’s experience comes from forestry contractor operations across manual timber harvesting, mechanical timber harvesting, and forestry logistics, with work involving HSE system implementation, audit preparation, operational document control, and performance monitoring.
Field Experience
Our experience was gained inside forestry contractor environments where production pressure, client standards, legal duties, worker safety, site supervision, and audit expectations all meet.
We understand the reality of working with supervisors, HSE representatives, HSE facilitators, operational managers, workers, clients, and auditors. This gives BOS Consultants a practical understanding of what an HSE system must achieve in the field and not only on paper.
HSE System Approach
As safety practitioners, our work has focused on helping contractor organisations meet client standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
This includes preparing the Baseline Risk Assessment and HSE Plan, which become the foundation of the organisation’s HSE system.
From that foundation, we develop the relevant operational documents, policies, standards, and procedures needed to guide daily work, support supervision, and maintain compliance. Key performance indicators are then used to monitor, review, and improve the system over time.
Audit Experience
We have represented contractor organisations during client audits and independent national grading audits.
Through this experience, we understand what clients and auditors look for, what evidence is expected, and how important it is for an HSE system to be clear, practical, organised, and supported by real records.
